PK. Mathematics and Numeracy

• PK.38 Children demonstrate knowledge of numbers and counting
  • PK.38.C 36 to 60 months
    • PK.38.C.1 Names some numerals
    • PK.38.C.2 Recognizes that a single object is “one” regardless of size, shape, or other attributes
    • PK.38.C.3 Understands that numbers represent quantity (e.g., gets three apples out of the box)
    • PK.38.C.4 Applies numbers and counting concepts to daily life (e.g., counts number of children who have raised their hand)
    • PK.38.C.5 Differentiates some letters from numerals
    • PK.38.C.6 Recognizes, names, and writes some numerals
