About Khanmigo for Arizona

Khanmigo is an innovative AI tool designed to act as a teaching assistant for educators and a study buddy for students. Key Benefits of Khanmigo:

  • For Students: Enhances critical thinking and problem-solving with guided prompts, supports homework and essay writing, and provides a customized learning experience across various subjects, in multiple languages.
  • For Educators: Simplifies workflow, identifies student struggles, synthesizes data, assists with lesson planning, and ensures student safety with automated alerts for inappropriate interactions.

Privacy and Security

Khanmigo is committed to protecting student data. A comprehensive Terms of Service with the Arizona State Department of Education has been executed to safeguard user information. Importantly, content submitted by teachers and students is not used to train the AI’s underlying models and moderation technology is used to flag interactions that may be inappropriate or unsafe. Khan Academy is proud of it’s clean SOC audits, FERPA and COPPA compliance
