The explosive growth in generative artificial intelligence (AI) in the last year promises to be both a blessing and an unprecedented challenge for human society. Revolutionary new technologies like AI promise to make our lives easier by helping us complete tedious tasks more efficiently, but these technologies also come with risks. The prevalence of cybercrime like phishing has exploded, student cheating using AI is on the rise, and the negative effects of social media use on mental health have been well documented.

Alongside our partners, Khan Academy is developing a few new and inspiring courses designed to help learners stay informed and learn digital literacy skills as they navigate the digital world. Take a look at our new courses.

AI for education course
