We get that the best thing we can give teachers is one less thing.
So we’re sharing 1 fun, free and relaxing thing to enjoy with your class each week month- including the chance to win Khan stress balls for your students and a new recording Sal made for teachers to use when taking a breather.
Week 1: Connect (5–10 minutes)
Have your students take turns answering Khan Academy Refresh prompts. Project the screen and popcorn around the room or have students write their answers and then volunteer to share out.
Week 2: Break (1–10 minutes)
Introduce your class to a meditation video with Sal, and extend your practice time as long as you’d like to help your students be proactive about reducing stress.
Week 3: Play (15–20 minutes)
Join a live Kahoot! game hosted by the Khan Team, where you can win a relaxation kit for your classroom (Khan Academy stress balls anyone?), play in your own time, or against another class in your building. Watch your inbox for the invite!
Week 4: Learn (30 minutes)
Hear from the Khan Team on relaxation techniques for teachers.
